The Quantoz EURQ is a euro-pegged stablecoin issued as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum by Quantoz Payments BV, a licensed Electronic Money Institution regulated by the Dutch Central Bank (DNB). Designed to be MiCAR-compliant, its whitepaper has been submitted as an Electronic Money Token (EMT) to the Dutch Financial Authorities (AFM). Distributed via authorized brokers to crypto exchanges, EURQ aims to provide a secure, regulated euro-denominated token for trading and liquidity in European markets. It is 102% backed by euro reserves held by Stichting Quantoz, a bankruptcy-remote entity, across systemically important banks and highly liquid euro bonds, under DNB supervision.
