Matrixdock has set up a special purpose trust  to hold the XAUm entities (i.e. the token issuer and asset holder). This legal structure serves to ring fence the XAUm investors’ assets from any creditor’s claims in the unlikely event of Matrixport’s insolvency.

XAUm is a digital token with a 1:1 peg to 1 fine troy ounce weight of LBMA gold, stored in reputable vaults located in Asia. A NFT version which has a fixed allocation to a specific bar can be minted using required number of XAUm tokens.

British Virgin Islands

The Matrixdock Gold entities are special purpose vehicles which only conduct the Matrixdock Gold program, and incur no liabilities other than the obligations toward XAUm token holders. They would not be subject to any claims from Matrixdock creditors even in the unlikely event that Matrixdock is insolvent.

Gold

XAUm tokens can be redeemed for both stablecoins or physical assets directly with Matrixdock. When redeeming for physical assets, necessary procedures will be arranged.

For primarily minting directly with Matrixdock platform, USD stablecoins are accepted. The purchase of allocated LBMA gold bars will be processed and XAUm tokens will be minted. All relevant information such as serial number, refinery, vault, fine weight will be available for view using the allocation lookup tool.
